Lisbon Heritage Hotels among the best Historic Hotels in the world in 2025 by Historic Hotels Worldwide

Lisbon Heritage Hotels has two of its properties distinguished as finalists in different categories of the Historic Hotels Worldwide Annual Awards of Excellence 2025, reinforcing the international recognition of the brand for its dedication to the preservation of Lisbon’s historical heritage and its excellence in welcoming Guests.

Solar do Castelo has been nominated as a finalist in the category Best Historic Hotels Worldwide Hotel in Europe. Located within the walls of St. George’s Castle, this property occupies the former kitchens of the Royal Palace and offers an intimate and authentic atmosphere in the heart of Lisbon.

Meanwhile, the Heritage Avenida Liberdade Hotel is a finalist in the category Best Historic Hotels Worldwide Best City Center Historic Hotel. Situated on Lisbon’s most iconic avenue, Avenida da Liberdade, this hotel occupies an 18th-century building that has been carefully preserved and adapted to contemporary comfort.

The winners will be announced on October 30, 2025, during the official ceremony at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, United States.
